Doctors don’t tell lawyers what to do in work. But the law is a mediator of relations between people, and in medicine we form professional relationships of the most private nature. Remember the four prima facie principles: respect for autonomy, beneficence, non-maleficence, and justice. 1.Respect for autonomy .
