Resuscitation March 2018 | by EMauthor Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is attempted in nearly 30,000 people who suffer out-of-hospital cardiac arrest (OHCA) in England each year, but survival rates are low and compare unfavourably to a number of other countries. Emergency physicians can be viewed in may ways as 'resuscitationists' and it is our job to drive up the quality of resuscitation. I encourage anyone involved to read the document linked below from the OHCA Steering Group.
