Acromioclavicular joint subluxation/dislocation

•Suspected clinically by mechanism of injury and localised tenderness over AC joint

•Ask specifically for AC joint view with weight bearing

•Grade 1: AC joint tenderness with no gap on x-ray

oBroad arm sling with analgesia, exercise and no follow up

•Grade 2: AC joint tenderness with widening of the joint on weight bearing x-ray views

oBroad arm sling, analgesia and fracture clinic follow up

•Grade 3: Gross deformity of AC joint and or dislocation on x-ray

oBroad arm sling, analgesia and early fracture clinic follow up
