Eye conditions in the ED

Most of the emergencies can be dealt with in the emergency department, however seek advice from consultant or from opthalmology on call when in doubt. Many eye conditions are painful, but beware some serious eye conditions can be painless. Always assess visual acuity when examining the eye. |
