Non traumatic torticollis March 2018 | by EMauthor •The patient presents with neck pain with the neck held in abnormal position •Differentiate from traumatic Torticollis which can indicate significant C-spine injury •There no history of trauma in this condition, however look for other precipitating causes that may require specific management such as pharyngeal infection •The condition is accompanied by muscle spasm •It is usually self limiting and the patient needs reassurance and analgesia |
